SSLC important questions 2027: what to practise, and where the real ones are
Nobody can tell you the exact questions that will come — but you can practise the question types KSEAB keeps returning to. Here are high-yield questions for Maths, Science and Social Science, and the official papers to use alongside them.
“Important” means likely to be worth your time, not guaranteed
No website can know the 2027 paper. What genuinely makes a question important is simple: it comes from a high-weightage chapter, it matches a question type KSEAB repeats, and it appears in official papers. The questions below follow those three rules. Treat them as practice, not prediction — and pair them with the chapter-wise marks guide so you know where the weightage sits.
Four places the real important questions live
KSEAB model question papers 2026–27
KSEAB has released model question papers with model answers for SSLC 2026–27 on kseab.karnataka.gov.in, in four sets (Set 1 to Set 4) per subject. They show the board's current question structure better than anything else.
Previous year SSLC papers
Actual papers from earlier years, including the March 2026 exam, show which topics KSEAB returns to and how it splits marks between 1, 2, 3 and 4-mark questions.
Mid-term and preparatory papers
The mid-term and preparatory papers are set in the board's style and are a good check on how well your preparation holds up under exam conditions.
The KSEAB blueprint
The blueprint tells you how many marks each chapter carries and in which question types. It decides which questions deserve your first attention. See our chapter-wise marks guide for how to read it.

High-yield question types, by subject
These are standard textbook-style questions drawn from high-weightage chapters and commonly practised topics. They are not a prediction of the 2027 paper — use them to build skill, then test yourself on the official model papers.

How to practise important questions properly
- Attempt before you check. Write the answer from memory first, then compare with the textbook or model answer.
- Time yourself. Practise 1, 2, 3 and 4-mark questions against the clock so answer length becomes a habit.
- Keep an error log. Note every mistake by chapter and revisit the log weekly.
- Repeat the weak ones. Re-attempt any question you got wrong after a few days.
- Finish with full model papers. Use KSEAB's four sets per subject as full-length dress rehearsals.
